Grad Info Session - Sept. 2018

A  Grad Assembly will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 19th in the cafetorium.  This is a mandatory meeting for all graduates. We will be reviewing dates, timelines and important information on graduation and university/college applications.

Bishop's University Reception

A reception will be held for students who will be attending Bishop's University in September. It will be held on  April 18th from 6:30-8:30 at the Britannia Yacht Club. It is essential for all grads to attend a Grad assembly on March 28th during Period 2 in the cafeteria.  Important information on awards, prom and the graduation ceremony will be provided.

SAT Test & Preparation

SAT testing is required for application to institutions in the U.S. Next SAT date in Ottawa is May 5th.  Early registration deadline is March 21st.  Go to sat.org/international for more information.  Our high school code is 646.     SAT preparation classes are available in Ottawa through Prepskills. Searching for scholarships made easy

NEW  a  website ( https://ScholarTree.ca) that helps students find and apply for scholarships. Help reduce your student debt. ScholarTree.ca streamlines the scholarship process; all you have to do is create a simple profile and based on the information provided (including school, field of interest, volunteer experience etc.)  Scholar Tree  will match you to all of the scholarships for which you qualify.


Scholarship Opportunity

For Ottawa Community Housing tenants - Ron Larkin Scholarship - Ten $1000 scholarships will be awarded. To be eligible: must be a registered household member in an OCH community, pursuing some form of post-secondary education at an accredited institution. Information and applications can be found at www.ochfoundation.ca. Deadline is June 29th, 2018.

Grad Photo Retakes / Friday February 2nd

The retake photo session is on Friday February 2, 2018.  
  • If you have not had your official portraits done yet, we invite all potential graduates to be part of this year's session.  You must sign up on the schedule provided in the main office ASAP.  
  • Please be advised that this will be your last chance to be part of the 2018 graduation class composite and yearbook.
  • If you are having a retake done, you must return your original proofs to your photographer, or submit payment for a new session.
  • Lastly, remember to arrive 5 min. early and wear your best smile to your session.
