Grade 11 Student Earns Excellent Results in Math Competitions!

 Yun en (Joshua) Chung, a grade 11 student at St. Patrick's High School continues to have excellent results in highly competitive contests. Earlier this year, he competed in the Waterloo Canadian Computing Competition achieving incredible results. Joshua was one of the top scorers achieving 73 out of 75.

Joshua also competed in the 2017 Fermat Contest run by the University of Waterloo and achieved results in the top 1 percentile.  "The results show that Yun en Chung was an outstanding achiever in the 2017 Fermat Contest.  This is an impressive achievement from which your school, and particularly your Mathematics Department, should derive great satisfaction."  (Michael Miniou, Director)   As a result Yun en (Joshua) was invited to the Lloyd Auckland Invitational Mathematics Workshop in Waterloo.
