Outstanding Student - Wins Five Awards!

Congratulations to Joshua (Yun En) Chung (Grade 10) on winning the following five awards during the 2015 – 2016 school year. 1. Gold as part of the Gr. 11 and 12 team who competed in the Math League Contest in Brockville. 2. Joshua won a bronze medal against 22 other senior “mathletes” in the individual competition. 3. Joshua got the highest possible score of 75/75 at the Waterloo Canadian Computing Competition giving him a first place standing out of 2008 participants. 4. Joshua wrote the Michael Smith Science Challenge 2016 and scored in the Top 1%. A total of 1781 students wrote the examination. As part of the St. Patrick’s Grade 11 Math team who competed in the Math Horizons Mathematiques 2016 uOttawa Mathematics League Challenge, the team won second place.

Also, Congratulations to the St. Patrick’s Grade 11 Math team who competed in the Math Horizons Mathematiques 2016 uOttawa Mathematics League Challenge on April 29th, and won second place. Our Irish Family at St. Patrick’s High School is very proud of our students and teachers’ achievements.
