St. Patrick's is very proud that again this year, our students have excelled in the Knights of Columbus 2016 Catholic Citizenship Essay Program. First, second and third recipients are all grade 10 students from St. Patrick's high school. The First place winner of the contest is Yeabsica MaMo, who had the opportunity to read her essay to the council and guests at the award ceremony on Wednesday, April 27. The second place winner is Landsie Voltaire, and the third place winner is Christabel Agbor. According to Patrick Rusheleau, PGK, PFN, Council Youth Activity Director for Resurrection of Our Lord Council, "Using our new ranking system there was only 4 marks difference between the 1st place and 3rd place essay contest winners . . . with an eight judge, judging panel the closeness of the top marks was amazing." Congratulations Yeabsica, Landsie and Christabel.

Also, on behalf of the school, Mr. Greg Minifie, Department Head of Religion, received a Certificate of Recognition.
