Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope that this letter finds you and your family staying healthy and keeping well during these unusual times we are facing. Each day seems to bring new changes and new adjustments that need to be made. I hope that you are managing with all of these challenges.

Last week, our teachers started to reach out to students and families to check in, and to see how everyone was doing. Our priority remains everyone’s well-being. We know that learning at home will be vastly different than learning at school, and this journey begins with ensuring that everyone is well.

If your child did not hear from their teachers, please have them login to their ocsb student email account or login to Hapara to make contact with them. I know our staff is anxious to hear back from everyone. Please note that all of our Catholic board school parking lots are now wifi hot spots. If this helps you and your family to connect to the internet, please make use of the wifi. The connection in the parking lots won’t be perfect, but hopefully it will work well enough.

Our Irish family is very strong, and I know that over the coming days and weeks, we will figure all of this out together. Our school board is working very hard to help with this new process, and early this week, they will launch some additional resources for all grades on the website. There will be bumps along the way, but as we always do, we will get through it together.

Please know that I am keeping all of our students, staff and families in my prayers.
Continue to take good care of yourselves.
