Dear Parents and Guardians,

This week, we embark on our journey through Holy Week. This certainly takes us on a different path than we have travelled before. We celebrate the days of this week with a very different feel, but always with the comforting knowledge that we walk together as a faith family.

Our educators continue to reach out to your children and our main concern remains the well-being and safety of our entire school community. This week, we begin the second phase of learning from home. Please know that our staff is very conscious of the flexibility that is needed at home for each family to make things work. Please encourage your children to check their ocsbstudent email accounts regularly, and to touch base with their teachers if they have questions, or need to make adjustments to tasks.

Students and families are encouraged to find routines and make plans that will work best for them. If you are looking for some suggestions to get started, here are some at-home schedules that may be helpful. We know, however, that these need to be adjusted for every family’s situation, so they are just an idea, or a starting point. For the most part, work will be sent to students at the beginning of each week, allowing them to organize their week to suit their needs and circumstances.

We miss our students and Irish Family so much! We have put together a video to share with our community - we hope you like it! https://youtu.be/O-F_VCYg08o

Please know that I am keeping all of our students, staff and families in my prayers as Holy Week begins. Continue to take good care of yourselves.

Carrie-Lynn Bowie

Principal, St. Patrick’s High School
